OUR STORY

OUR CONJURE STORY

Red Clay Conjure was born from what remained.

My family roots run through Mississippi and Alabama, where spiritual practice wasn't always given a name. Sometimes it looked like a horseshoe over the door. Sometimes it was prayer spoken over a situation, a candle lit with purpose, something placed at the threshold, or the quiet understanding that certain things were done because that's how the elders did them.

Some traditions traveled through my family. Others I had to find my way back to.

For more than two decades, I've been called to the herbs, the roots, the land, and the ancestors. That calling led me deeper into Southern spiritual traditions and into mentorship with Southern conjure women who helped me understand not only what we work with, but why.

Over the years, I learned to listen differently — to the properties of a root, to the spirit of a plant, to prayer, timing, intuition, and the wisdom carried through generations.

Red Clay Conjure grew from that relationship.

This work is not about collecting spiritual products. It is about understanding the roots beneath the work — working intentionally, respecting tradition, and allowing ancestral wisdom to remain alive rather than becoming something forgotten.

Every oil, rice, candle, bath, and working I create comes from that foundation.

The old ways.The Southern soil.The roots.The ancestors.

Rooted in tradition. Made with intention.
